Coffee & Conversation – Ensuring High Quality Early Education

April 9 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join us for a dialogue with Dr. Tiziana Filippini and Neighborhood Villages

Neighborhood Villages supports educators, children, and families residing in high-needs areas in Boston. We are leading the effort to support all educators by providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment. With funding from the Lego Foundation, collaboration with Early Educators, and in partnership with Boston Public Schools, we co-created the Learning through Exploration Toddler Curriculum. This curriculum is being piloted in the Neighborhood and will be shared widely across the Early Childhood Education field.

In this conversation, leaders from Neighborhood Villages and Dr. Tiziana Filippini will discuss equity and access for all children, leading to high-quality early childhood education in the City of Boston and beyond. Time is included to tour Epiphany Early Learning Center.

Epiphany Early Learning Center is easily accessible via the MBTA red line stop at Shawmut, just around the corner. There is also a parking lot that will accommodate a few cars, and metered parking is also available along Dorchester Ave and some of the side streets in the neighborhood.

*We do not want financial hardship to be a barrier to participation. Please email us at bostonreggioinspiredstudygroup@gmail.com if you would like to attend this event, but cannot pay the registration fee.
