Revisit the significant principles and practices that guide the development of the Reggio Emilia Approach both in and out of the classroom. The first hour will be a presentation focused on principles and practices in a Boston context, with the following half hour being optional for those who have questions or would like time for discussion. This workshop is ideal for those new to Reggio or for those looking for a refresher on the key values of the approach in a U.S. context.

Revisita los principios y prácticas significativas que guían el desarrollo del Enfoque Reggio Emilia tanto dentro como fuera del aula. La primera hora consistirá en una charla centrada en los principios y prácticas, seguida de media hora opcional para aquellos que tengan preguntas o deseen tiempo para la discusión. Este taller es ideal para aquellos que son nuevos en las prácticas de Reggio o para aquellos que buscan actualizar sus conocimientos sobre los valores clave del enfoque.

本講座提供對瑞吉歐學派基本原則與實踐的導論。頭一個小時介紹瑞吉歐學派在波士頓地區課堂裡的實踐，接下來的半小時提供與主講人問答的機會，可以選擇參加。講座適合剛開始接觸瑞吉歐學派、或想複習瑞吉歐原則在美國華人背景下如何應用實踐的老師。

本讲座介提供对绍瑞吉欧学派基本原则与实践的导论。 头一个小时介绍于瑞吉欧学派在波士顿地区课堂里的实践，接下来的半小时提供与主讲人问答的机会，可以选择参加。 讲座适合刚开始接触瑞吉欧学派、或想复习瑞吉欧原则在美国华人背景下如何应用实践的老师。

The English version of this seminar is presented by Rosa Vega, early education and Kindergarten Teacher at The Advent School. Before joining Advent, she worked as a preschool and pre-k teacher at Technology Children’s Center at Lincoln Lab in Lexington, where she taught in a Reggio-inspired classroom. Rosa has led workshops on various Reggio topics with a focus on what inspiration looks like in the U.S. context. She has a B.A. and M.A. in Early Childhood Education from Merrimack College along with participating in the international study group at the Malaguzzi Center in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

Vicky de la Garza, Atelierista de The Advent School en Boston, será la presentadora del seminario en español. Vicky cuenta con una experiencia de más de 25 años en el campo de la educación, trabajando con niños y docentes. Durante los últimos 8 años, ha sido parte del equipo docente de The Advent School, una institución inspirada en Reggio Emilia. Su proyecto más reciente ha sido la creación de un Atelier centrado en ciencia, español y arte. Vicky ha impartido talleres y seminarios para profesores en diversos temas relacionados con la práctica de Reggio Emilia.  Vicky tiene una Maestría en Educación de la UDLAP en México y una segunda Maestría en Educación enfocada en Pensamiento Crítico y Creativo de Umass Boston. Ella visitó Reggio Emilia, como parte del grupo de estudio en 2022 y además, es miembro de la junta directiva de BARIN.
