Design at Advent is an engaging, hands-on summer program inspired by the design process and the principles of the Reggio Emilia Approach. Work with a co-teacher to guide children on an amazing journey of creation and fun this summer!
$25 per hour. Option to work one or two weeks during dates listed below.
June 20 – 30
Puppet Engineering
Seeking one teacher to work with 5-6 year olds (“junior designers”) on their puppet creations, inspired by famous puppeteers and special guest visitors.
July 24 – August 4
Woodworking Wonders
Seeking one teacher to work with 5-6 year olds (“junior designers) as they learn basic woodworking skills to make creative designs.
Seeking one teacher to work with 7-8 year olds (“senior designers”) as they use tools to create imaginative designs out of wood and other materials.
