Resident Teacher and Graduate Student – Boulder Journey School
The Boulder Journey School Teacher Education Program is an innovative, one-year paid residency opportunity where you can study Reggio-inspired coursework work in an early childhood classroom. During the year, Resident Teachers:
Teach alongside mentor teachers and take on the daily responsibilities of a classroom teacher
Design and engage in opportunities for leadership and advocacy in the field of Early Childhood Education
Engage in ongoing collaboration and reflection on teaching practice with a cohort of peers
Co-construct a contextual curriculum with children and adults
Innovate new early childhood practices
Participate in a week long Study Group in Reggio Emilia, Italy
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in any field, and a desire to be part of progressive community focused around lifelong learning and advocacy for Early Childhood Education.

Start date for residency: August 5, 2024
Please note, there is a summer online course that starts June 3, 2024, but can be taken from any location.
