Radcliffe Child Care Center Director
Campus Child Care (CCC)
Radcliffe Child Care Center (RCCC or the Center) is seeking a highly committed, organized, dynamic Director with strong communication and interpersonal skills. RCCC is a part of Campus Child Care, Inc. (CCC), the umbrella organization responsible for overseeing the six (6) early education programs on Harvard’s campuses.
The Center serves fifty nine (59) children between three (3) months and five (5) years of age in five classrooms. Located in the Harvard Square area of Cambridge, RCCC’s educational philosophy is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, which honors the child as protagonist, teacher as researcher, and parent as the first teacher.
The director is responsible for the daily management of overall operations of the Center, including supervision of the administrative team and all teachers, for setting a tone of openness and responsiveness for parents, children and staff, and is accountable to diversity, equity and inclusion for all community members. The director reports to the executive director of Campus Child Care. CCC provides logistical, financial management, and administrative support to the programs while the center directors are focused primarily on the role of staff and family support and pedagogical leadership.
This is a full time, full year (12 months) position. Salary range commensurate with experience, generally $90-110K. A rich benefits package is offered.
CCC is an equal opportunity employer; all qualified applicants will be considered. We strongly encourage candidates from historically underrepresented groups to apply.
