Concord Children’s Center, a full time, year round program, is hiring
Infant and Toddler and Preschool Teachers for the 2023-24 school year.

Directors recently voted to increase salaries to align with public pre-school educator salaries. Concord Children’s
Center, a local leader in early childhood education for over 45 years is known for its experienced and talented faculty.
Our average teacher tenure is over 12 years. This is your opportunity to become part of one of the longest operating
child care and preschool programs in the area and work with young children in a professional, dynamic environment.
* Full time and part positions available.

* Salary commensurate with experience. Starting full time salaries are between $41,000-$51,000 per year.

Responsibilities include:
Foster a safe and nurturing environment that appropriately meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of young
children and cultivates positive interaction with their peers; support children’s growth and development.
Partner with your team of classroom teachers to develop a curriculum for children that offers age-appropriate
education, exploration, and play, both in the classroom and outdoors.
Engage in thoughtful, productive communication with parents and build meaningful relationships that support the
overall development of their children.
We’re seeking teachers with:
Previous experience with young children
Demonstrated understanding of early childhood development gained through relevant education, training, and/or
previous work experience.
A high level of accountability for children’s development and ownership of the classroom space and curriculum.
An ability to thrive in an autonomous environment that encourages collaboration across teaching teams.
Strong communication skills that flex across young children, parents, fellow teachers, and administration.
Department of Early Education and Care Teacher or Lead Teacher qualified.
Bachelor degree preferred

Established in 1975, Concord Children’s Center (CCC) is an accredited, leading local nonprofit provider of early
childhood care and education governed by a board of directors. With 2 locations in the town of Concord, CCC offers
full-time, part-time, and summer care and serves over 150 families with children of ages ranging from 10 weeks
through 5 years old. It is the mission of Concord Children’s Center to cultivate an intimate, welcoming community
where children develop respectful relationships and inquisitive minds, build confidence in their individual gifts, and are
engaged, prepared, and inspired to learn.
