An Introduction to the history, values, and practices of the Reggio Emilia Approach in Spanish

Durante esta formación introductoria de 1.5 horas, los participantes aprenderán sobre los valores más característicos del enfoque de Reggio Emilia (Italia) y su impacto en la educación infantil. Además se repasará el origen, su contexto histórico y cultural y cómo los elementos de Reggio Emilia pueden servirnos de inspiración y reflexión para mejorar nuestro entorno educativo.

During this 1.5 hour introductory workshop, participants will begin to learn about the fundamental values and practices of the Reggio Emilia Approach. This workshop will review the history of the schools in Reggio Emilia, Italy, frame the primary tenets of the approach, and highlight how the approach is implemented in infant, toddler, and preschool centers. Examples of emergent investigations with children in U.S. contexts will be used to demonstrate how one can draw inspiration from the schools in Reggio Emilia. This workshop is ideal for educators who are new to the Reggio Emilia Approach and is intended as an introduction. Participants will be encouraged to continue to learn about the Reggio Emilia Approach through additional readings and materials provided.

$25 Our-Cost Fee*: At this level, your fee fully covers the costs of you attending the Workshop Series.
