The Hawkins Centers of Learning New England are a group of educators inspired by the work of Frances and David Hawkins. We come together to mess about with materials and ideas, in the spirit of Hawkins’ living room gatherings, where everyone was welcomed and respected for their curiosity, competence, and creativity. We are excited to announce that we have a new space for our gatherings at Joanne Pressman’s place in Arlington, MA! She converted her first floor apartment into a Messing About studio space, where we can meet, store our materials and continue explorations. Please RSVP for Saturday, November 16 and Saturday, February 29 for Messing About at the new space. Directions to Joanne’s place will be sent to those on the RSVP list.
