Fundamental Values of the Reggio Emilia Approach

During this day-long introductory workshop, you’ll spend time in a Reggio-inspired school, learn about the fundamental values and practices of the Reggio Emilia Approach, and engage in a material exploration. This workshop will highlight the basic principles and practices of the schools in Reggio Emilia. Examples of emergent investigations with children in a U.S. context will demonstrate how one can draw inspiration from the schools in Reggio Emilia. There will also be time to explore the environment in Reggio-inspired classrooms. This workshop is ideal for educators who are new to the Reggio Emilia Approach.

This workshop will take place at The Advent School (15 Brimmer Street, Boston, MA). The registration fee includes morning refreshments and lunch. Registration begins at 8:30 AM.
