Individual Seminar Recording Access Fees:
  • $25 Supporting Fee: At this level, you are covering your fee for the seminar and helping to subsidize the reduced fees paid by others who have more challenging financial circumstances.
  • $20 Our-Cost Fee: At this level, your fee fully covers the costs of you attending the seminar.
  • $15 Subsidized Fee*: At this level, your fee for the seminar is subsidized by the scholarship fund provided by BARIN Supporters and through the additional fees paid by those selecting a Supporting Level Fee.
School/Program Seminar Recording Access Fee:
  • $100: A flat rate of $100 per seminar provides access to all educators in the school/program. The recording of the seminar will also be available to the school/program for 2 weeks.
*We do not want financial hardship to be a barrier to participation. Please email us at bostonreggioinspiredstudygroup@gmail.com if you would like to attend a Seminar, but cannot pay one of the fees outlined above.
SEMINAR 1:
Exploring Reggio-inspired Principles and Practices through a Boston Lens 

Revisit the significant principles and practices that guide the development of the Reggio Emilia approach both in and out of the classroom. Attendees select the seminar langauge of choice – Eniglish, Mandarin or Spanish.

SEMINAR 2:
Sparking Wonder: Embracing the Language of Open-Ended Materials

This seminar will explore the incredible world of open-ended materials through the “100 languages” principle of the Reggio Emilia approach. During the first hour, we will demonstrate how everyday items can ignite creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while fostering communication and collaboration among young children.

SEMINAR 3:
Observation and Reflection Principles to Interpret Young Children’s Learning

In this seminar, we will focus on how observation and reflection can guide curriculum, instruction, and assessment practice in meaningful and authentic ways. The observation principles shared during the presentation will be applicable to children of all ages and many of the examples will feature infants and toddlers.

SEMINAR 4:
Applying Reggio Principles to Support Neurodiverse Learners in the Classroom

This seminar considers how several core principles of Reggio-inspired practice can be applied to support the needs of diverse learners, including students with autism, anxiety, sensory processing differences, and others. We will discuss how teachers can center children’s voices, strengths, and interests as they intentionally design the environment, schedule, materials, and classroom expectations to help many different children succeed at school.
