Advocacy 101 webinar on Wednesday, January 29 at 1pm

January 29, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Calling all advocates for young children and families!

Advocacy season is upon us yet again. On Tuesday, January 21, Governor Baker will deliver his State of the Commonwealth speech. The following day he is expected to release his state budget proposal for fiscal year 2021.

Now is the time to dust off your advocacy skills and gear up for a season of advocating for high-quality early education and care.

Join our Advocacy 101 webinar on Wednesday, January 29 at 1pm.

This Advocacy 101 series refresher is intended for all audiences, whether you are a seasoned advocate or just testing the waters. We will go over the basics of advocacy – who represents you at the State House, meeting with legislators and staff, how a bill becomes a law, and updates on the state budget process.

Can’t make it on Jan. 29? No problem. We will record this webinar and continue the webinar series in the coming months. We hope to flood the State House with advocates at this year’s Early Education and Care Advocacy Day at the State House on Thursday, March 5.
